October 18
Worked in preschool this morning and the first thing LeNell told me when I walked in this morning was that I looked sick. Why don't you just tell me I look like shit and let's move on, okay? ha ha Went to the yellow room, did the diapers and then, when we went outside, Tasha went home after being there literally fifteen minutes, so I got to spend the rest of the morning in the red room, which I absolutely loved.
Went to the coffee shop for internet and, as we were leaving, I looked at Erin and said, "Two months." Latoya, one of the ladies from the front desk who is not known for being nice, overheard us and said, "Sick of us already?" Not really caring enough to answer, Erin said something about how we miss our family and boy friends." Good cover, but no. The truth is. We're sick of you.
Spent the rest of the afternoon in red and had such a great, easy, fun afternoon. The parents were late picking up the kids, so I was late getting to Darrick, but he was late getting on anyway, so we managed to talk for about an hour before I went home and watched some How I Met Your Mother, ate dinner and then watched an episode of Grey's. Then did a hardcore ab workout with Erin and wound up talking about work and discovered that I am either immune to the bull shit or they're just finally laying off me, which, unfortunately for Erin, means they're on to her now.
Things I learned today:
1. Saying "why we don't walk in front of swings" is too harsh for an accident report. I have to add, "because we may get hurt." Umm... I'm pretty sure that it's common sense!
2. Today marks exactly TWO months until I will be on a plane home!!!!!!
