Red Room Rocks!

Worked in the red room all morning and had a kind of difficult lunch because Matthew's mom and LeNell tried to help, but just wound up making it harder. I appreciated the gesture though, so I just kind of bit my tongue, but I kind of prefer to just work in there alone because I am much more efficient. 

At lunch. Erin and I went to check our mail and the guy gave me Lauren Hill's mail and, since the guy can never remember our names while he's checking for mail, I said, "Umm. That's not mine. Lauren Hill is not the same as Hillary Mills." Okay. Kind of bitch move, but seriously. Stop trying to flirt or whatever you're trying to do and do your freaking job. Then went and got internet.

Went back to work, which was fairly easy. Took the kids outside and, after fifteen minutes, it started to rain, but I managed to get the kids in right before the downpour. Hannah, normally one of our most active kids, just wanted me to hold her all afternoon and after about a half hour, I checked her temperature and she had a 101.1. Overall, however, it was a really good day. My stress level was not nearly as high as when I work in the yellow room and I found myself enjoying my time at work. That's a first!

Talked to Darrick after work, ate dinner and discovered that the toilet has still not been fixed since SUNDAY! Grrr! Watched How I Met Your Mother and, intending to watch only two episodes, wound up watching four episodes of Grey's Anatomy and one freaky season finale! Freaked out and emotional after the finale, Erin brought her mattress into my room and crashed in my room for our first slumber. 

Things I learned today: 

1. The Grey's Anatomy cast has become like my dear friends, so it's extraordinarily sad to see them die!
