A home cooked meal without the home.

October 20, 2010

Worked in the red room and then moved to the yellow room before I had to go and give Yailyn her break in the green room. Then, as usual, I went back to the red room for a half an hour before my lunch break. (I know. Real exciting morning.)

Went on my lunch and e-mailed Darrick and discovered that he's working overtime, so I'll have an evening to get caught up on homework and my blogs, which I was like two weeks behind on.

Spent the afternoon in yellow, which was frustrating because Willie has gotten really aggressive and is seriously a danger to the other kids, but I can't really get him to stop because then he lashes out on me and I can't neglect the other children, but I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do. I guess I just continue letting him kick on the floor and make all the children get away from him because he'll hurt them. Grr..

After work, Erin and I went to the dorm dinner, which was chili night and talked to the new MFLAC lady and the chaplain from the ministry about the program and traveling. Another kind of awkward dinner, but it was free and we got some home cooked food, which was nice.

Went back to our room and watched Never Been Kissed and The Prince and Me while I wrote my blogs and did homework and then watched one episode of How I Met Your Mother before bed.

Things I learned today:
1. Kearney (where Erin lives) is where Buckle was founded.
