Woke up at 5:30 this morning and have no idea why. I was sound asleep and then, all of a sudden, I was wide awake. Got on internet and got to talk to Darrick for a few hours via e-mail, which was a nice surprise since we didn't get to talk much this weekend. Wasn't very productive all day because I got up late and there was the whole time change thing, which puts me 7 hours difference between me and Oregon, which screws up our talk times.
Ann picked us up and we went shopping in Milton Keynes where there is a HUGE mall. Ate lunch at Burger King and I bought two scarves, a hat and a pair of cheap flip flops to wear around. Came home and went Trick-or-Treating with Yana for all of about ten minutes. Connor's mom was with them and she asked if we were at the party last night. We replied, "Yes" and then she was like, "So, where do you guys work?" Umm.. We work at the CDC with your son. WOW.
Went over to Yana's after and had some homemade chicken noodle soup and watched some of The Holiday (Yana's favorite movie that Erin and I have now watched 20 times all the way through and Yana hasn't - haha) and the tail end of The Devil Wears Prada.
Came home, ate while we watched an episode of How I Met Your Mother, e-mailed Darrick, made a video of Erin and I dancing and then captioned photographs. Now it's time for some glorious shut eye. Good night!
Things I learned today:
1. The longer fruit stays on the trees in the fall is an indication of a more severe winter... Looks like England is in for a severe winter!
